Lehigh鈥檚 undergraduate major and minor in health, medicine, and society prepares students to meet the increasingly complex health needs of the growing global population. Our interdisciplinary faculty offer courses focusing on social scientific and humanistic approaches to health that aim to cultivate a broad understanding of the effects of health, illness, and medical care on individuals, families and communities.
The faculty are involved in both local and international health-related research, including a growing focus on community health.
The undergraduate major in Health, Medicine, and Society requires students to also declare a second major.
Lehigh alumni with a major or minor in health, medicine, and society work in a wide variety of healthcare professions, including administration, medicine, public health, care-giving, business, policy, and research.
